Directions for Use
- If possible, remove all loose debris from the pothole or damaged area. With a shovel apply enough Asphalt to crown the damaged area. Tamper down with the back of the shovel or wheel roll with a roller or the tyres of a vehicle.
- For holes 15 cm deep or ore, apply in 5-7 cm layers, compacting Asphalt between each 5-7 cm layers.
- On conventional utility cuts or when Asphalt is being applied over disturbed sub base aggregates, it is necessary to compact the base as you would in any standard repair application.
- Simply apply Asphalt in to the repair area and compact with a rubber wheeled Asphalt roller. Asphalt in a bag may be overlaid with conventional hot mix asphalt and
is completely compatible.
- Once applied, Asphalt in a bag takes traffic immediately and requires no setting time due to the tenacious bond of the Instant Pothole Repair Patch.
